Terms of Use

These terms and conditions apply to the Stream app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for iPhone that was created by Westguards Digital Limited (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as a paid subscription service.

Upon downloading or utilizing the Application, you are automatically agreeing to the following terms. It is strongly advised that you thoroughly read and understand these terms prior to using the Application. Unauthorized copying, modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempts to extract the source code of the Application, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions are not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.

The Service Provider is dedicated to ensuring that the Application is as beneficial and efficient as possible. As such, they reserve the right to modify the Application or the price of their subscription plans at any time and for any reason. The Service Provider assures you that any charges for the Application will be clearly communicated to you in advance through the App Store.

The Application stores and processes a limited set of data in order to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your phone and access to the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking your phone, which involves removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. Such actions could expose your phone to malware, viruses, malicious programs, compromise your phone’s security features, and may result in the Application not functioning correctly or at all.

Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions. Below are the links to the Terms and Conditions of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

Please be aware that the Service Provider does not assume responsibility for certain aspects. The Application requires an active local Wi-Fi network to communicate with your TVs, and some features require an active internet connection. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity due to lack of access to Wi-Fi or if you have exhausted your data allowance.

If you are using the Application outside of a Wi-Fi area, please be aware that your mobile network provider’s agreement terms still apply. Consequently, you may incur charges from your mobile provider for data usage during the connection to the Application, or other third-party charges. By using the Application, you accept responsibility for any such charges, including roaming data charges if you use the Application outside of your home territory without disabling data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you are using the Application, the Service Provider assumes that you have obtained permission from the bill payer.

Similarly, the Service Provider cannot always assume responsibility for your usage of the Application. For instance, it is your responsibility to ensure that your device remains charged, that your TV is powered and on the same network, and that your HomeKit configuration is in working order. If any of these conditions are not met and you are unable to access the Service, the Service Provider cannot be held responsible.

Stream communicates with TVs and services made by other companies (Apple, Roku, Amazon, Google, LG, Samsung, and others). The Service Provider does not control those products and is not responsible for their availability, behavior, or changes to them. A TV manufacturer’s firmware update may add, remove, or break features that the Application relies on. The Service Provider will make reasonable efforts to keep the Application working, but cannot guarantee compatibility with every device or firmware version.

In terms of the Service Provider’s responsibility for your use of the Application, it is important to note that while they strive to ensure that it is updated and accurate at all times, they do rely on third parties to provide information so that they can make it available to you. The Service Provider accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, that you experience as a result of relying entirely on this functionality of the Application.

The Service Provider may wish to update the Application at some point. The Application is currently available as per the requirements for iOS, and the operating system requirements may change over time, requiring you to download updates if you want to continue using the Application. The Service Provider does not guarantee that they will always update the Application so that it is relevant to you and/or compatible with the particular iOS version installed on your device. However, you agree to always accept updates to the Application when offered to you. The Service Provider may also wish to cease providing the Application and may terminate its use at any time without providing termination notice to you. Unless they inform you otherwise, upon any termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must cease using the Application, and (if necessary) delete it from your device.


Subscriptions and Billing

Stream is offered on two subscription plans, purchased through the Apple App Store:

  • Weekly with a 3-day free trial, billed at the price shown in the App and on the App Store listing.
  • Annual, billed at the price shown in the App and on the App Store listing. No free trial.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Managing and cancelling. You can manage your subscription, turn off auto-renewal, or cancel at any time by going to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.

Free trial. If you start the 3-day free trial on the weekly plan, you will be charged the weekly price when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. The trial is available once per Apple ID.

Refunds. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s refund policy. The Service Provider does not process refunds directly. Refund requests should be submitted to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.


End-User License Agreement (EULA)

This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you and Westguards Digital Limited and governs the use of this app made available through the Apple App Store.

By installing the app, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. You may also review the platform-specific EULA below:

License Grant

Westguards Digital Limited grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the app.
  • Rent, lease, or sublicense the app to others.
  • Use the app to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any TV, network, or service.

Apple-Specific Terms

You acknowledge that this Agreement is concluded between you and Westguards Digital Limited only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app to you; to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app. Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce this Agreement against you.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to the app immediately, without prior notice, if you breach any terms of this Agreement.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Westguards Digital Limited is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Nothing in this Agreement limits any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.


Changes to These Terms and Conditions

The Service Provider may periodically update their Terms and Conditions. Therefore, you are advised to review this page regularly for any changes. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page.

These terms and conditions are effective as of 2026-04-15.
